It can be replaced on individual pages using a featured image and "How to display page FI on this page" drop down list in the Xtreme options for this page.

You can Use Custom Per Page Widget Areas to create your own custom widget layout, and display them on your page with the "Plus" widget_area shortcode using any of the existing style and layout options available in the Theme, as shown on the Shortcode > Plus Plugin page.
